The Autotec Managed Programme
The Managed Programme is how your Autotec coating's 10-year guarantee is kept valid, through one simple annual check-up.
How It Works
Unlike virtually all of the competing "ceramic" coating brands on the market today, Ultragard needs to be applied only once. The unique Nano Polysilazane technology is so durable that it never has to be reapplied for the entire duration of the Guarantee.
It is important, however, that you regularly look after the coating, and we urge you to take an active role in its maintenance. In addition to your regular care, Autotec has created an annual Managed Programme to remove the worry and hassle for you. Simply bring your car back to your Dealership or authorised Autotec Centre once a year. Let them remove any contamination that the coating may have accumulated during the preceding year, and reapply a new "Protective Shield Layer" that will help protect the base coating and extend its life.
In most instances, the Dealership/Autotec Centre will only need the car for two or three hours, and your car will be handed back to you looking as good as the day it was coated.

10-Year Managed Programme Guarantee Overview
- The 10-year Guarantee is contingent on the car owner's commitment to participating in Autotec's Annual Managed Programme. Non-participation, or failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions, downgrades cover to a still market-leading 5-year, owner-maintained Guarantee.
- The owner has 14 days from the date of the application/release to register their commitment to participate in the Managed Programme.
- Participants should return their car for an annual inspection and maintenance at their Dealership/Autotec Centre within 30 days of the anniversary of the original application. Returning later than this may incur additional charges depending on the condition of the car.
- During each annual inspection visit, the car will be decontaminated and the Protective Shield Layer reapplied, leaving the coating looking as good as the day it was first applied. Each annual visit will incur a minimal cost to cover the work undertaken.
Transferring the Guarantee
The managed 10-year Guarantee is transferable upon the private resale of the vehicle, with the remainder of the Guarantee period starting from the date of the original treatment. The new owner must register their interest with the original Dealership/Autotec Centre within 30 days.
Eligibility
The Ultragard managed 10-year Guarantee is only valid if the coating was applied at a partner Dealership or an authorised Autotec Centre and by a certified technician.
Non-Permanent Surfaces
Where the coating is applied over PPF (paint protection film) or a vinyl wrap, the Guarantee does not apply, as the coating bonds to the covering rather than to the vehicle itself.
Even though the Guarantee does not extend to these surfaces, we still recommend participating in the Managed Programme, so that the coating continues to be properly maintained and performs at its best.
